About the Role
As a consultant for the Business Development, Sales position at Nakama, you will hold a critical position as a
Business Development Manager responsible for driving growth and profitability through identifying new
business opportunities and establishing strategic partnerships. Your primary focus will be expanding our
customer base, entering new markets, and maximizing revenue streams. Market research, analysis, and
proactive client engagement will be key to your success.
Job Location: Nairobi
Reporting to: Kenya General Manager (Sales)
Key Responsibilities
a) Conducting comprehensive market research to identify potential customers and explore new markets.
b) Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
c) Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and increase revenue.
d) Creating and delivering persuasive presentations to potential clients and partners.
e) Negotiating and finalizing deals with customers and partners to secure business opportunities.
f) Managing and nurturing a sales pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of new business prospects.
g) Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to
align business strategies.
h) Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on sales and business development activities.

Desired Skills and Competencies
1) A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Sales or a related field;
2) At least 5-8 years’ working experience in a BPO environment with a minimum of 3-5 years’ in Business
Development or a similar role.
3) Strong organization and planning skills;
4) Have an analytical & critical mindset and strong attention to detail;
5) Strong team management, team building and motivation skills for collaborating effectively with others.
6) Conflict resolution with ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure.
7) Able to manage multiple projects (multitask) and help coordinate team members to achieve project
objectives.
8) Facilitate communication and assist with operational and administrative duties.
9) Highly organized in both time and in resources
